Terms of use
These terms are short because the site does little: it publishes information for adults in Kenya about betting apps and the licence list, takes no bets and moves no money. Reading on means you accept them; if you do not, the right response is simply to close the page and read the regulator's site instead.
Who the site is for
Adults in Kenya aged eighteen and over. Gambling is for adults of the age of majority, which in Kenya is eighteen; regulation 92 of the Gambling Control (Conduct of Gambling Operations) Regulations, 2026 keeps persons under eighteen out of gambling and gambling promotion. If you are younger, this site is not for you. If you are outside Kenya, the law described here may not be yours.
Information, not advice
Pages describe the Gambling Control Act, 2025, the 2026 Regulations, the regulator's published list, the app stores' policies and the operating systems' documented behaviour, with section numbers so that you can read the source. They are not legal, financial or technical advice for your situation, and nothing here creates a relationship between you and the publisher. A decision that depends on the law belongs with a lawyer or with the Gambling Regulatory Authority.
The licence table is illustrative
The app check table reproduces the regulator's list of licensed gaming companies for the trading period 2025/26 as read on the date shown on that page, exactly as published. It is not the register of licences the Authority keeps under section 39(1) of the Act, which section 39(2) opens to the public at reasonable times on payment of a prescribed fee. The regulator's live page prevails over every line here. A line in this table is not a statement that a particular app is genuine, and the absence of a line is not a statement that an operator is unlicensed: it may simply publish no domain.
No gambling services
This site offers no gambling service, takes no bet, holds no account, accepts no payment and links to no operator, no app and no download. Section 28(1) of the Act requires a gambling activity or service to be licensed; this site is not one and does not pretend to be.
Operators and third parties
The publisher is not responsible for any operator, app, store or payment provider mentioned on this site, for their terms, their conduct or their software, or for what happens after you install or use an app. A dispute about a bet belongs with the operator's customer care centre, which section 68(8) of the Act requires an online operator to maintain in Kenya, and then with the Authority.
Accuracy
The site aims to be exact and says where it is not sure. Laws, regulations, store policies and the regulator's list change; a page is accurate as of the 'Updated' date it shows and the reading dates it names. Errors are handled under the corrections policy.
Copying
You may quote this site with attribution and a link. Quotations from the Act, the Regulations and the regulator's page are public documents of the Republic of Kenya and belong to no one here. The site's own text is the publisher's.
Changes to these terms
Terms change when the site changes: when the publisher's legal entity is published, when a contact channel opens, if analytics is ever enabled, or if any arrangement with an operator is ever made. Each change moves the 'Updated' date on this page, and a change that matters is noted on the corrections page as well.
Governing law
These terms, and anything that arises from using the site, are governed by the law of Kenya.
